I hold a Master degree in Foreign Languages from Palacky University. My academic journey took me to the University of Porto for a year, where I specialized in Portuguese and Lusophone Studies as an undergraduate. During my master's program, I enriched my expertise with a year at the University of Lisbon, focusing on Portuguese Language and Educational Linguistics. In 2022, I wrapped up my studies with an awarded research. These experiences have shaped my deep understanding of both Portuguese and language education.
My passion for my today's profession drives me to continuously expand my expertise. Alongside holding five diverse language certifications, I have earned a TEFL certification and a specialized certification in Teaching Business English. I have attended diverse seminars and workshops to stay at the forefront of language teaching trends and methods, ensuring my approach is both innovative and effective.
Besides my full-time language lecturing initiated 2020, I bring a rich tapestry of international experience. I have lived, worked and studied in Belgium, Czechia, the USA, Portugal, and Brazil. Some highlights include a diplomacy internship at the Embassy of the Czech Republic in Lisbon, language lecturing and translating for big companies and working with high-profile individuals. Additionally, I have volunteered lecturing children with NGO's in South America.
My love for exploring all corners of the world and being active keeps me pursuing many goals. May it be getting a yoga teacher certification in India, running a half-marathon, exploring world cuisines or learning programming. This spirit of curiosity and adventure extends into my teaching, where I bring the same enthusiasm to our lessons - and so do my students. This dynamics does not only enrich each other's lives but also make learning Portuguese an enjoyable journey.
